The real sales are either 30-40% off. (Other than the 2 days around black Friday, when they add 10% to the 40%).
Until this past January you are correct, that the price was around $36, with the 40% off $60. Since January, the raised the prices to $70, so even with the Memorial day sale that passed, the price was $42. ($70-40%)

the outlets usually carry different shirts than reg stores, outlets ones say regular fit in collar, they are much rougher material, like cardboard, and diff fit too, as the reg stores sell ones that say traditional fit which are much more comfortable. Occasionally the outlets carry the traditional fit ones but rarely.

Last year I bought a few bb shirt in nj at bb in jspo. I got 40% plus 10% from the coupon book. Those coupon books stacked with almost every stores sale unless it was noted otherwise. I didn't bother this year because bb raised their prices though I did manage to get a good deal on sneakers at nike with the coupon book.

Had absolutely no problem getting the 15% on top of the 40% at BB.  Came out to $35.45/shirt!
Banana Outlet also had 25% off on top of 50% off the whole store.
Then I got some absolutely delicious Dulce de Leche caramel sauce (Cholov Yisroel!) from Le Gourmet Chef imported from Argentina for $6.40 after 20% off from the coupon book.  Just had it on ice cream last night

Great outlet trip overall!
