Anybody have recent experience, renting a car, with a license less than 2 years - officialy required by most rentals? Pls specify location.

You can say you had it longer and just got a new license. But that would be lying and I would never recommend that

NY is one of the states that legally has to rent you a car starting from 18. Granted there will be a hefty surcharge, but you CAN rent. I passed 18 a while ago, so I don't know what the best way around it is nowadays
