Hmmm, did you see Obama's first flight on Air Force One? (about 1:10)

I just watched those ten seconds like the Zapruder film. What was I supposed to see? A second bag of potato chips in the grassy knoll?

Not if you're OOT.

In major Heimishe enclaves one should only buy B.Y. Potato Chips.

The real question is whether DDF popcorn needs to be Bishul Yisroel, or can we get JTZ to cook it?  ;)

I recall once hearing that even the so-called "kosher" pc (HEY! I just realized that popcorn and potato chips have the same abbrev.!!!  :D) are not regular BY. They have a special BY run for the kosher l'pesach version. Though, I'm not sure how accurate this info is.
Unfortunately just because a company is Jewish doesn't mean it's more kosher than a non Jewish brand.
I'm not who you think I am.

The "melech" of the free world ordering a burger as he becomes "melech".

Irrelevant. Shulchan melachim does not mean what a melech himself eats but rather what he serves at an official dinner.

This is an old issue when certain people tried to make trouble about eating sardines because there is a brand of sardines named King Oscar sardines. They argued that if the King of Sweden ate sardines then it proves that it needs to be bishul yisroel. S"A clearly speaks about the "little fish" that are not choshuv.

Anyway, Obama eating burgers is the same as that.

He's no "melech"!

Nothing personal, but the POTUS is actually the weakest leader in the western world. Not sure if the criteria of a melech critical for the "oleh al shulchan melochim" goes. It would be interesting to list some things that can go on the plates of some African or other tribal kings.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

Your punditry is shelo bimkomo. Shulchan Melachim has nothing to do with power. That discussion may apply to whether or not to make a brocha upon seeing him, but here the discussion of b"y is solely about who throws the classiest parties. (See my comment above about King Oscar which you should know as an old Crown Heightser.)

In the world of popcorn there's no such thing. Especially when some people have run out of forks.
