Rules are sometimes relaxed for biz. Also, I imagine that was not terribly recent.

Couple of weeks ago. There's no systemized auto rejection for business like personal. I've even had personal cards auto rejected when the applicant was only an AU on that product, because the system thought the applicant already had that product.


Recon did give hell for opening a second card for same business, though. (I applied for same business name by accident.)

This isn't new at all, it has been Chase's policy since pre-2014. In fact they even used the exact same wording. My guess is that this wording is just being used in their automated replies again.
