Curious if anyone might know about this. I opened a Delta Plat. Bus. card this year after seeing a post explaining sign up bonus and benefits. I cannot say with 100% certainty, but was fairly certain the post mentioned signing up in 2016 which would allow you to get a companion certificate for both 2016 & 2017 ... and going forward each year. I looked on my SkyMiles account and there was no certificate, when I inquired they sent me to AmEx who verbally told me you do not get a certificate until after having the card for a full year. Would anyone know if this is accurate?
