open emirates credit card?
That will prevent my current miles from expiring?
ETA:
From the T&C
No Miles Expiry

Skywards Miles are normally valid for a period of three years from the date they were earned as stated in the standard Emirates Skywards Program Rules.
As a benefit of having the Emirates Skywards Rewards World Elite Mastercard, Skywards Miles belonging to the primary cardmember will not expire as long as they have an open Card Account in Good Standing.

Can anyone confirm that this applies to existing miles on the account to?

Whats the best way to book NYC to Dubai on Emirates first class with miles? I found some on Qantas for 149,800. Any better options?

Wait on AC to see what they will charge. Chances are it will be 110k(140k) like EY

Is that Air Canada? I don’t see any option for first class, only up to business class.

Air Canada indeed.
It's a new partnership - and the ability to book into first class will be available soon

My understanding is that cash upgrade yes, mileage no. They charge high prices for cash.

+1

So F prices are 2x to 2.5x J - is it really worth it? (I don't eat caviar  ::))

It's all subjective but an extra 20k for TLV-DXB in F is def worth it to me. Cash upgrade onboard is close to 2k.
EK J is pretty poor on most routes

Hello,

If I book a ticket to ATH on Emirates & then a separate ticket to TLV with a different airline:

1) What happens to my luggage? What's the process &

2) Do I have to go through customs & immigration in ATH?

3) Lastly, is ATH safe for a lady flying alone?

Thank you all in advance-I'd REALLY appreciate any help!!

I did this route twice, second airline was agean, first time they didn't want to check-in all the way to Israel but 2 days ago they did! It was amazing.

You have to go true passport control and they asked me for a boarding pass for the second route which I didn't have now because I didn't check-in my luggage this time so I checked in online.

It is a safe airport to my knowledge
