emirates lands 405pm and aegean departs 5 pm    is this doable? or am i being silly

If you have a boarding pass printed in advance (which you can print in the airport) you don't have to pass immigration which makes the connection possible.

Was looking for a one way ticket from Athens to EWR, I found for 17,500 direct. Sounds too good to be true. Anyone seen such low fares?
Now seeing many dates for 17.5k, both JFK-MXP and EWR-ATH (return as well).

That is the regular saver award price, not something new.

After disembarking at the bend where you can go upstairs - back to departure's)  there is a kiosk, you can try there or by getting a digital pass.
I don't think Emirates will print you one.

They simply showed their onward boarding pass to the check-in agent and they happily tagged it to EWR

I've been through ATH on a connection with different airlines many times in the past 6 months.
The passport check(not controll) before the transit security doesn't allow digital boarding passes. I've had to go through passport control, upstairs to check in and back through passport control.  20 minutes in Greece, 2 passport stamps.

If you're lucky and there is a representative of your airline at the transit desk you may get them to print a boarding pass and save the hassle of passport control x2.

IME the transit desk handles almost all airlines (probably excluding low cost), and why couldn't you could print your boarding pass beforehand when checking in online?

Depends on time of day if Goldair handling or Aegean reps are there.
Couldn't print due to document verification required

I think I posted this and never got an answer

I have tickets from Emirates using an Aegean connection. Can anyone confirm the ability to take both personal item and carryon on the Aegean flight and what dimensions/weight they allow? I got nowhere with an Emirates agent and Aegean's website shows only what you get when booking through them, which is nothing.
Also, am I able to reserve seats on Aegean somehow, or do I have to wait until check-in? The reservation number works only on EK and there's no option available on EK's website.

Anyone have experience going to the airport 48 hours before departure to try and get the upgrade from J to F?

How long did it take for the carry-ons and stroller to come out? Or did they send it straight to the destination?

Rule of thumb:
If its not a gate check 99.9% of the time its going to be checked thru.
Gates checks... can depend on arrival airport, but most of the time you get a choice, at least for the stroller.
