Is it possible to get Amex to up the Plat miles from 50K to 100K, like people are doing for the Gold-from 15 or 25K to 75K?

I canceled 20 minutes before i saw this post, i just called and reinstated the card, and got the same rep to tell me that i qualify for this offer code, and he supposedly applied it to my account, although i don't see it there yet. will wait 24 hours and see what happens.

I tried PM twice and 3 phone calls and they keep on insisting that the offer expired before I applied for my card . They keep on saying after looking at my account that we already told you that you aren't eligible yesterday/2 days ago . It looks like someone marked my account with a big red X

did you also get the 50K extra matching bonus on the Gold card , because they responded by listing the bonuses I got 50K plat 25K gold and then wrote and we even gave you a one time courtesy bonus of 50K to match an offer so don't get greedy
