Anybody got such a response? Is it worth trying even?

I got the same response. No idea as to that approach's efficacy.

I have just spent the $1000. When should I call in to get my promised 100k points, they told me than something about 6-8 weeks, do I have to wait all this time now before I call in to get them to apply it? [or start the battle]

I'd start the battle sooner rather than later. But I'd start it via SM to have them confirm in writing that your account has been notated.

They are telling me its noted on my account that I called and that there is no notation for the bonus 5728.
Any ideas? I tried 3x already

Yea, for some reason people who do not have the notation in writing (read: confirmed via SM) are having [more] trouble getting points posted. Try getting your notation confirmed in writing.

Interesting I got a note on my account, and like all of you nobody wanted to honor it. But to my shock, when the statement closed I got an additional 75,000 in my account. Did anyone besides me get it systematically without having to call in about that?

was this your first time trying to get the Plat bonus?
Most ppl are having a much more difficult time when it comes to round 2 or 3 with trying to get bonus applied. there are notes added saying that the account has already received bonus points and is now ineligible for additional bonus points
