called 6 times, and no luck.
they keep on putting me on hold and then saying "targeted offer" and no indication that you were targeted.
Any ideas???

Most ppl are having a much more difficult time when it comes to round 2 or 3 with trying to get bonus applied. there are notes added saying that the account has already received bonus points and is now ineligible for additional bonus points

You're right, this card is the first Bonus that was requested, but I've done this with multiple cards, and I never had that it posted systematically.

I've heard if they give you the "technical issues" excuse on why they can't post points, that you need to pay off your outstanding balance for the month so they can post the points.

Dunno if that really works or not.

They keep telling me it's not noted on my account I tried PMing and now they say my account is noted they won't honor.
I called 4 different times and emailed 2 times.
Any other advice?
If not I want to at least close the account not to pay the $450 annual fee.

Yey!! Just called them up, a week after I met the $1000 spend, requested them to expedite the NOTATED PROMISED 100000 points, at first she tried to get out of it by saying I wasnt targetted, but after convincing her that I was promised by them etc she made them available for me in my account immediately! And said that in future they wont give me anything not targetted to me.
P.S. This was not a supervisor, I started off the phonecall requesting one, but she said she needs to know why so I explained the situation etc and b"h she helped!

im hearing now that the idiots advertising in the torah times and other publications, are sending emails out to their "clients" that amex is now turning people down for 100k and will not do it anymore. anyone else hear this?
does it also apply for 75k as well?

Barring a small # of exceptions, it applies for ALL non-targeted "clients," whether for 100k, 75k, or 50k.

I was promised 100k, I saw 25K deposited, called back Platinum line who 3-wayed with MR in which the supervisor told me unfortunately at this time we cannot manual post the difference, but she read the original note outloud and confirmed the "previous promise of 100,000 points". She suggested faxing/mailing the correspondence office. I searched online for the AmEx Executive # and found a 212 #. I called spoke to a nice rep who told me she will look into the issue. 30 minutes later, 100K were deposited into my account!! I called before I met my spending threshold and was told its noted on my account.
After I paid the bill I called an emailed a few times and each time was told nothing was noted and that they would not honor it.
Any other advice? SHould I just close the account so at least I dont pay $450?
I got the points for the gold so I think thats why they are not honoring the platinum.
My first time with a platinum card.

I tried calling many times with no success, and I just called now ,gave my info and said I need a supervisor.
The fellow on the other end said "maybe I can help and avoid calling a supervisor" and gave me the points on the spot.
Seems that it makes them look bad to get a supervisor, so try this method.

Called and asked for a supervisor he said no problem let me get a supervisor. I hung up called again and asked again. Got same response from a different rep.
I told the supervisor she said we cant see notations for bonus you need to speak with membership rewards. They transferred me to membership rewards told me nothing noted on my account they cant do anything.
