Did this just happen? I got off the phone with a CSR about 2 hrs ago and received the extra 50k

Yes and she said that i need an RSVP number in order to process it?

No one else seems to have been asked for a RSVP number. Call again and hopefully they didn't write in the notes that they asked for it

I sent another secure message about my disappointment at not applying under 100K offer blah blah blah.
The response was very unexpected. CSR basically responded that he went ahead with a full review of my credit card past with AMEX, and saw that this is Plat #2 for me, and being that I got bonus on #1 as well, and that this was also the case with some other flavors as well, so he really technically should take back heaps of points, and I should be happy that he wont actually do that.
I guess that this is not a case of "just keep trying".

I sent Amex a SM early morning yesterday, got an email saying I'll get a response with in 10... It's more than 24 hours later and still nothing, anyone know what that means?

-Explained when I opened my card and what I got.
-Wrote about my disappointment and how I'd like that to be rectified.
-Wrote how great AMEX is and how dedicated I am to AMEX with a prefect payment history.

I also had to wait like 24 hours for a response... apparently they're getting an overflow of emails...
