Just got 5748 on another card as well on second try!

Guy's if you're thinking of doing this, hurry and do it now before this has the same fate as 3882...

5748 worked for though i needed 2 calls.. first notated to call back after 8 weeks from satisfying the promotion requirements. then called back and asked if they could expedite it and she made it available instantly

It looks like the 50K promotion is over!!! They are only offering 25K now!!!

can anybody help on what i should say or do?

i got the 100k for the amex plat and then cancel and reapplied like 2 days apart( as per dans advice) and now they cancelled the application after reviewing it for 2 weeks saying i just got the other card 2 weeks ago and the only thing they can do is if i want they can open the old card back and not get any new points.

anybody have this issue or have a number where they can sort it out?

Doesn't really matter as you should be able to get it matched to 100K.

Dan's instruction here to get 50k still seems to work for me. I was about to apply again, now that it's been 60 days since my last app.

to get a full refund of the annual fee, is it 60 days from the application, getting approved, activation, or from when the fee posts?

ummmm. why? Clearly if he gave me 100k and not the 50k, he is a moron. Had he done the math (and im sure they have calculators) he would have seen that 100-50=50. I think he was definitely a moron (doesnt mean i dont appreciate what he did-he doesnt even know what he did!)

They gave me the bonus 50k, but for some reason it's showing up on the points statement under my gold card (i already got 75k for that one).maybe if I call they will give it again?
