Hi!

I also got an sm reply from Maxwe through social media, in the negative. I called and spoke to a couple people and then they gave it to me. I had not yet spent the 1k so they said that when I do, I should call them after 8 weeks and they will credit it.
btw, they now have a twitter thing, "Tweet us at www.twitter.com/AskAmex NEW! "

I must have missed something here... Amex will only match you for bonus ID 5748 if you originally signed up for the 50K offer? If you originally signed up for the 25K offer (bonus ID 4880), you will not get the match?

You could get it either way. I think people feel more comfortable signing up for 50k to be guaranteed at least 50k , and hoping that a jump from 50k to 100k will be easier than 25k to 100k

I got 100k 3882 and asked for 50k 7548. I also got PRG 75k.

There is no such thing as the 50k offer even if you put it in the url. i tried and i only got 25k before getting it matched to 100k.

If you edited the URL properly you'd have the 50k offer associated with your app.

Yes, it was deffinitely associated with the 50k offer on my end, i even got a printout of it. but on amex's end it only shows up as a 25k offer.

I also edited the url and landed on the 50k page. But when I called for the 100k they said the bonus on the acct is 25k. To date only 25k has posted.

Oh well, looks like the 50K switch is dead then.
Even with the 25K link though you can still call to get 100K.

So how many platinum card do you have? 3882 is for older card, and 7548 is for newer card, do you ask to match on two different cards?

That's the same 4986 bonus ID code that now only gives 25K.

wouldn't they give you 50k if you tell them you have a screenshot for 50k offer?

Is the $450 fee waived the first year for the Plat card? I got the 75k offer in the mail for the Amex PR Gold, successfully took advantage of that.

Can I sign up for the Amex Plat 100k offer too?
