Got my 2nd email back and they once again said that the promotion ended etc.
I would try again if i actually spent good money on this card. But since i barely spend I think i'll give up

Seems that he was in a good mood after yesterdays major news spread a little before his reply.

They rejected my request too. I will try again with travel next time.

I called today about my plat card and spoke to a rep "to verify" my signup bonus. At first she said I was in for 25k when i corrected her and said it should be 50k she asked for a promo code so I told her to look up 3882.after being on hold a couple of times she came back and said that the promo I applied with was for 50k but she ran 3882 and I was eligible so she applied it and I should now get 100k upon meeting the spend requirements.
Thanks everyone for sharing your ideas and thanks dan for your help.So far this week I got 20k spg and hopefully 100k mr.
Now to get my gold up to 75k

I know that's why I was very skeptical and asked for the details to be emailed to me.She couldn't do that so I settled for a note on my account.Also it seemed like she kept putting me on hold to speak to a supervisor maybe the supervisors have the authority to apply 3882?

Yup. I've been having hardship with the secure messaging, time to try chatting up a supervisor.

After 2 rejected secure messages for my Platinum card "extra" 50K, I called up and spoke to someone who got me the 50K within about 5 minutes. It was a very easy process.

I sent a secure message and was told its unavailable, then called and the cs rep said to call when I receive the first 50k and they will add the remainder.

I just got off the phone with an agent and she said she applied the promo and I will be getting 100k.

Originally, I had sent two secure messages, receiving a negative response to the first one and no reply to the second. Good luck to the rest of you...
