There's no code for 100k biz plat, but if you spend a lot on the card that might convince them to honor a 100k code from the consumer plat card.

0n 6/30 I sm'd ae mr and asked if they will honor offer 6499 of 75k, to add 25k to my previous 50k.
I just received a response saying that will honor it and are posting to me the 25k.

I logged into my amex account today and noticed it says on top 'you're pre-approved for the Amex Platinum Business and earn 25k points'. This despite the fact that I have 5 active Amex cards and only recently cancelled the consumer Platinum (after receiving the 100k of course).

I have 2 questions:
1 - Has anyone succeeded in having a Business Platinum matched to 100k?
2 - Is this pre-approval guaranteed as it's only when I log into my account? Or is it more like the 'pre-approved' junk mail we all get.

Hopefully they will match this offer for all my Dansdeals brothers. It is Bonus ID 6544. You can apply at www.open.com, if Dan doesn't have a link elsewhere.

If it's a real business, 10k is usually not a bug deal.

i called chase to cancel my ba card and the rep told me that chase reserves the right to take back the miles!do you think there is anything to worry about,or i can just cancel? Is that true he said its part of the agreement that if your not in good standing they reserve the right to take back the milage, and if you cancell the card then you are not in good standing. Is this true. (Walter Waller thats the agent I spoke to).

To clarify- this link just gets DD credit but does not say it is for 100k miles promotion. That comes later when you call up with the code?

Nothing to worry about, I canceled my card and wifes a while ago, still sitting with 200k BA miles

I signed up for the Amex platinum e few months ago and got the 50,000 (actually 51,000). Then I didn't cancel, but downgraded it to a gold card.
Can I reinstate to a platinum, then ask for 50,000 aditional points with rference to offer 5748?
Or should I just ask for additional 25,000 pts on the gold with reference to offer 5894?

How long did it take for your BA miles to show up in your BA executive account?

Mine still says zero, and I met the spend requirement at least 6 weeks ago.

Welcome to the forums!

I think the 75k might work, try for it and see what they say. If they say they can't honor the 75k match because the card was opened as a plat, ask about converting it to a plat to get matched to 100k. You might have to call a few times until you find someone who'll be willing to match you either of those two ways. I don't know for sure, but IMHO the 75k will be easier than the 100k (considering it's one conversion, not two).
