What do you think of this idea:

I want to do a triple browser for AMEX plat 100k/chase hyatt/chase southwest.

My only prob is that I need to wait. My history:

Chase BA - 4/11
Chase Sapphire - 6/20

So, I'll wait till 7/20 or so before trying the three browser. But before then, I'll freeze both Exp and Equ/TU.

How long ago did you cancel the your amex plat or is this a first time app?

A triple browser won't help for 2 different companies. What does help and what AsherO meant was doing it at the same time/day that way Chase doesn't see the pull from Amex and vice versa.

The 2 chase should be done with a double browser

Yes, that's precisely what I thought he meant. But, as long as I am applying for Hyatt, I might as well apply for SW, too.

Applied in Mid June. Posted 2k spending since. Called amex plat regarding promo 5748. They told me I wasn't targeted and they wouldn't give me the points. I asked to be transferred to Membership rewards. I asked the same question and got the same response. So I told them to transfer me to the cancellations department. Boom. They ask to put me on hold to check with the supervisor. 5mins later they put me in the promo.

I've had good luck with all the calls for matching I've made lately. They match right away and just ask where I saw the promotion.

so my friend called up to cancel his plat yesterday after 60days.. they guy said he will credit him back $375, when my friend asked for the full 450 back the guy
said I see you got the $200 airline credit and the 100k mr points so stop complaining, you did pretty good

i agree we are all doing pretty well for ourselves and I doubt my friend would have gotten the full 450 back. what I am wondering is, are they catching on at amex to all our shtick? and more important do they notice the jewish names (I always felt that I would be a huge chillul hashem if they do; yes I know that tonz of ppl on ft are doing the exact same stuff as us..)
