Sent SM for both this offer (100K on amex plat) and the PR Gold card (75K) and note was added on my acct. Will SM back after my spending is in, and hopefully the points will post

I just spoke to AE and they told me that bonus 5748 for 100k is good thru jan 2012.
bonus 5894 for gold premier 75k is thru july 2011.
I would like to know where I can sign up for the 50k platinum and then apply the bonus.
I tried to get them to issue me the cards on the bonus ID alone, but they said without the rzsvp # it won't work.

AMEX points are worth money. 100k is worth around $1600.

Can you explain? On the American Express site, 5,000 points buys a $25 AMEX gift card so 100k = $500 gift card. Or are you saying you could use 100k points to exchange for $1600 worth of airfare? Thanks.

I just got approved for this card less than 3 months ago. I didnt get the 50k bonus yet... I just call them and tell them the promo, and they will change it to 100k.
