Seriously SPLP, please try to do some searches before you ask questions. There are 60+ pages of information here, and almost every other page has a report of someone doing it either way with success.

Activated new Platinum this AM, and just spoke with CS for UNDER 10 minutes and 5748 was added to my account! Gotta love the extra 75k MR's!

Some CSRs tell people it's expired so they don't have to do any work I imagine.

Some times they will post the adt'l points at once --- did the post the 75k to ur acct.?-

I'm still wondering if anyone can report success with matching on the Business Platinum. I've seen some say it 'should' work with a different bonus ID, but no one who could say they've actually done. it.

Business Platinum has it's own code of 5999, but I haven't seen anyone on here try and match it yet.

I would of tried if they hadn't denied me for the Business Plat $:-\$

Just spoke to membership rewards they told me they can not give me this promo because its only if I recieved a RSVP or am a new customer, but due that I have a Starwood card already I am not eligible, anyone come across this??

ok thanks. Succeeded at second attempt not that easy though but after being put on hold for a while, she came back and said she put in a note that they would adjust it manually after I call in when Ive spent the $1000.
