Doesn't seem like it , I know 2 people who got it , everything was different (age area income) besides for their religious affiliation.

However realize that's its a newer promotion , don't say when I applied 3 months ago I was trying to get 5748 , just say if asked to explain that you feel cheated that you applied to early , and now they have this promotion

Rep told me that its for that that applied (applying) from 03/2011 - 07/2011, so I guess this is the card to keep churning now.

Just called membership rewards and was told that since i didn't spend $1000 yet he cant credit my account the additional miles. he noted my account with offer 5748 and that i should call when the 25k opening miles post for the additional 75k miles. Would it be better to try emailing them as well for a confirmation or should this be enough?

.....So i figured that i've called 4 times and SMed 3 times with nothing doing, so i got my brother to call about his own card, he gave the guy code 5748, he put him on hold for a couple minutes and said he gave him the extra 50k, so my brother told the guy that his brother is right next to him and he'd like to get this as well, he said sure, i gave him my info, and now i'm 50k richer!! woooohoooo!!!!! NEVER GIVE UP!

Another never give up story. Tried many times with the original code no luck, was told my account was marked that the offer doesnt apply to me. Figured why not give 5748 a spin , worked like a charm , no mention of any previous tries.

I had originally tried 5748 in a secure email and they didn't give it to me. I figured I'd give calling a shot and I called and they gave it to me with no problem

I figured that once I had a rep that was willing to give it to me I would try to get it done for my wife as well. However, the rep said that my wife had signed up for the platinum card before the 5748 promotion started. So she told them that she had a different code 3882 and was placed on hold and then it was given to her reluctantly.
