Flying Delta Tel Aviv- JFK with silver Medallion status

Can anyone tell me the benefits I will get flying Delta Tel Aviv- JFK w/ Silver status ?
Will I get extra baggage?
upgrade?

Does it make a difference if I buy the ticket or if I use miles for it?

With silver medallion- I see an option on my trips to request upgrade to comfort plus (trip is far out-months away), is it better not to request so can get a higher up upgrade such as business, first class etc. or nothing to lose?

Double check this. Based on recent experience - only 2 checked bags for Delta One on return from TLV.
