In the past few month, Dan gave us the impression that the first time bonus transfer to Delta, receiving 50% bonus plus 25,000 MQM ended in March 31. Actually that one is still alive, only the 30% bonus on top of that got dead then.
1. So i'd like to ask the people over here, did anybody have success doing the transfer recently?
2. also, is it true that the MQM are separate the the other ones. meaning that if I transfer 50,000 Amex MR it will get 75,000, and additional 25,000, in total of 100,000! ?
3. I saw they also have an additional offer, not only for first timers, that offers 40% for transfers over 100K MR, and 25% under 100K MR. is it possible to combine both offers, by registering to both on Delta's site?
4. I understood that the definition of "first time transfer" means into the Delta account, not out of the MR account, so I'd be able to transfer to 2 separate accounts, and receive the bonus twice. am i wrong with that?
Any advice?, please help

1. yes
2. no, MQM,s are not additional, so 50K MR + 75K DL of which 25K are MQM's
3. not stackable (maybe someone can get lucky but reports are that they dont stack)
4.correct, it is per DL account, you can transfer out of MR into 2 sep DL accounts and get the bonus on each. as long as they are both registered.

Pardon my not understanding... but if I have 100k MR points and I transfer to DL does that mean I will be getting 150k DL miles (of which 25k of them are MQM)?

So my total mileage would be 150k but I would also be automatically be eligible for silver status by virtue of 25k of that being MQM?

Great thanks. Knowing that DL is by far the worst carrier for redemptions, what are the pros of doing this?

Meaning I don't have immediate travel plans for use of miles, so I would think that CO might be a better place to park these, unless I decide to pull the trigger tomorrow on the BA deal (200k BA isn't such a bad deal).

There also seems to be a promotion now getting you a 40% bonus if you transfer 100,000 miles and 25% bonus for any transfer less than that. Anyone have any luck in getting that bonus along with the first time bonus offer?

I registered and it didn't go thru. I called and asked them why, they couldn't answer me that.  So did a friend of mine and it didin't go thru, seems like somethings going wrong there, anyone who had done this successfully please post.

@pianodude,
Are you a medallion member?
More importantly, do you have a delta branded amex?

Are you saying the registration didn't go through, or the bonus didn't go thru when you transferred?  The 40%/25% registration worked for me (immediately shows up under Skymiles account in enrolled promotions), and I also am registered for the 50% bonus.  But I presume they won't 'stack' as Delta caught on to previous scenarios like that (I was once able to stack the 50% and 30% promotion for a total 80% bonus on a prior Skymiles account awhile back).  I'm waiting for a bunch of MR bonus points and then will transfer and report what happens.

No - they send you Amex Gift cards in the mail, which is basically an Amex debit card that has $100 on it, and you use it until you spent the $100.   You cannot exceed that amount.
