I figured i wouldn't start a new thread, and just put it here.

I'm looking for ideas of a present i can get for a chavrusa. around 50 or 60 dollars.

If he was always late for seder, buy him a watch :D

But seriously, a watch, pen, lighter (if he smokes), cuff-links might work. Or if he's the studious type, buy him some seforim.

male or female  :)

Gift for husband
« Reply #71 on: August 12, 2011, 02:51:48 AM »
It is my husband's 30th birthday next week and I would like to get him a nice gift.  My only requirement is that it not be too expensive.  He is not too "into" technology (hence me being on DDF).

Any ideas?  TIA!

Okay, I read through the whole thing, but being that
a. he doesn't like technology
b. he isn't into wine
c. def. doesn't need a sefer

There wasn't too many ideas.  Come on men - what would you like for your 30th bday?  I know what I would want  ;)

Instead of telling us what he doesn't like, maybe tell us what he does like. It'll be a lot more useful.

My aunt is doing us a huge favor (worth multiple thousands of dollars) and not charging us for it. I am looking to buy her a gift-$500-$1000. She is really off the beaten path (think non matching socks).
Any ideas are appreciated.

taking a random thought here, but maybe something like a roomba? I heard they actually work, and are quite cool.
