You are being completely dishonest. I said before he was even elected the President gets credit for what happens in the stock market. You disagreed completely. SALT stands for State Allocable Lucrative Taxes, and refers to the amount of state taxes that you pay.  State taxes are very lucrative, because there are few deductions so the state gets a lot of money, and you used to get a deduction so you get money back from the feds.

Next year, they will be less lucrative. So you want to allocate them now.

So now not caring is the same as not giving him credit? My 401k was all cash so I personally didn't care about the market. He still gets credit as I have pointed out before he was elected. Do I really need to dig up the post/s where I said the President gets credit for the market? Try and be a little honest here.
