Anyone know if I really need a passport for a few month old baby to get into Toronto?
(Im Canadian if that helps)

If you're talking about a Canadian passport, you should be able to get one easily if you're willing to come into Toronto yourself to do it. Appointments are pretty easy to get, and that should get you a passport in 3-4 days IIRC. Maybe the canadian embassy in NY can also do it for you- you still have 5-6 weeks until pesach.

My kids were born in canada so maybe it's different, but I got an appointment on a Friday morning and had the passport by Tuesday morning. When you go the first time to apply they  give you an appointment to come back to pick it up.

I think I did have to show a confirmed flight booking IIRC.

rumor has it by the Montreal border that a few people got turned around for fake vaccine cards, and some people had criminal charges pressed.

No one has fake vaccine cards... they questioned the authenticity of the CDC cards and requested additional "proof" which the people couldn't provide

for sure true in one of the cases, they actually had a legitimate vaccine card and got turned around because it looked suspicious. Trying to find out more info, and if there are instances like this by the  Ontario crossing, or just by the Quebec crossing

Any way to get kosher food delivered to YYZ past security? A couple with a baby flew AirCanada from TLV and wasn't allowed onto their connection to the US because they aren't vaccinated. (Now they say they can fly tomorrow.)

Anyone here have any ideas?

BH all taken care of. They thought they would need to stay in the airport all night, but they were let out.

Does anyone have any experience flying  through yyz to tlv and having food picked up at the air via Uber eats or the like? We have about a 7 hour layover from the US, and didn’t know if there were still kosher food options in the airport or if we could leave the secure area and pickup food without violating the current quarantine laws. Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure I saw Kosher food at the shop near the Elal gate (32) a few weeks ago.
No problem entering Canada during the layover (officially need to be vaccinated but unlikely that anybody will check), and Kosher restaurants are 20-30 min from the airport.

any updates on this? I contacted the supplier (Grodzinski's) who claimed that since April 2020, the airport has not been ordering food from them. I am confused because the airport's website claims otherwise.
