Love that I can hit 90 mph on my way home from work

Meal Report:

Nice place, if not a little stuck-up decor. As the name connotes it goes for the old English feel with coat of arms, paintings of the queen, etc. Kosher food is served in a side room with about 12 tables. Service is friendly and proactive, especially since there was only one other party besides us (a party of 6). It's quiet, maybe a little too quiet as you can hear each others conversations.

Menu

Appetizers:
Bread was good. Would have been excellent if it were warm.
I had the Smoked Sable Fish and Salmon. Was pretty good, but very fishy. Whole thing tasted a little like lox.
Wife had the lentil soup. She said it was very good.
Wished they had a meat-type option

Mains
I had the braised short ribs. Was very good/excellent. Portion was very large. Mashed potatoes were OK and needed salt.
Wife the rack of lamb. Was also very good/excellent. She asked for medium but I think it was a little more than that (and a little too well done for me) but it was still very good. Portion was smaller than mine.

Desserts
Wife had the chocolate cake. I did not like it at all.
Warm apple crumble was excellent.

All in all it was a very good meal. Rack of Lamb is $15 extra so it was $75 + $90 + tax & tip. Comes out to around $215. Definitely a better value than the PH. Only real complaint is it would be nice if there was another app option. Apparently the chef hasn't arrived yet (only the sue chef) and is coming next week, so we will have to return to see.

Exact experience although I wasn't a real fan of any of the desserts, they are made off site they told me aka store bought

Went to the jays=yankees game today. Nice place to watch a game. Even nicer that the Yankees won

You get any hot dogs or fries? I like the toppings that they have at Ole Spadina. Those hot peppers are awesome!

The experience ppl go there for is to have the amazing hot dogs that they make only for the stand. The hot peppers are $3.99 for a tub at no frills. Go nuts

A few points:
1. you can drop your car off for valet at 1 terminal and ask them to have it ready at the other terminal.
2. A US plat will get the valet fee removed but not the 15% discount on parking rates.
3. Weekly parking is $150. Very expensive. Seems to be worth it only if you are parking for 3 days or less.
4. Travel times this trip: (times are door to door leaving my house to arriving at house) (I live 20 min from airport in YYZ and 15 min in NYC)(Checking luggage, traveling with two kids, no nexus (finally getting in two weeks))
