Hell no! The point is that it stays part of the forum
sounds like a site suggestion

easy way to make it work on the new site
Tags
a tag only mod's can add

then filtered tags.... would give you the same idea.

sounds cool

He can make it identical to SD that you must be a forum member to comment, but that's not my point

How about also splitting the "Deals" and "Deal Requests" into their own boards?

No reason to keep them combined at this point
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I would agree but the amount of request are so little who cares

and it also wouldn't get anyones attention in another thread.

It would help if everyone requesting a deal put "deal request" in the title, so that we don't get excited about their threads. But go enforce that :)
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

It used to be hot, had a powerful meaning, now I would click on a thread saying warm rather then a thread which says hot. Lol ;)

How about a moderated deal section similar to SDFP, it should be within the forum, but if it's a good deal or a popular deal the title should get edited by a mod and put in a new board, so if someone is looking for something interesting he should refer to clean place
+1
we should call it DDMS
This should be a step before DDMS, mods should be able to add threads to this board (DDMS, only Dan or JJ can) it will also make the job easier for Dan & JJ because they won't have to look thru all deals that people think are amazing deals, they would only have to look the board which has good deals because it was already filtered for them by mods.

I was just thinking about this yesterday. It used to be "smoking" "hot" "sizzling" "RUN!!!"
You'd think there was a fire somewhere.

You bet there is!
You never heard the expression that what's on sale is expensive, (basically you would never purchase the item for it not being on sale, only now because it's on sale you hit hard with the sale, and basically ignite a fire and burn your money. Lol, almost like the cartoon I've seen when you at the gas pump and the pump is in the pocket of the driver pumping the gas showing how the pump is Suctioning out the money out of his pocket dollar by dollar.
