Award mixed class ticket - luggage allowance
« on: May 04, 2011, 02:47:12 AM »
I'm sorry if this has been discussed already. (I searched for this topic, couldn't find)

I booked an award ticket thru CO, LH, JFK-FRA, FRA-TLV. TLV-FRA, FRA-JFK. All in business except the first leg on the return is not yet avail in B. (Still hoping..)

However, I'd like to know what my luggage allowance will be on my return?

As far as I'm concerned, LH has different allowances on B then in Y, and different allowances on flights originating from middle east, than transatlantic flights. Is the answer sort of, YMMV/depending on the check-in agents mood of the day, etc..?

Thanks!

I spoke to an LH rep, she said that one is limited to the most restricted leg, hence in my case, I  won't be allowed more than 2/50 pounds of luggage.

Now, I wonder was it her mood, or that's somewhere on their fine print? (I searched on their website to no avail)

Anybody? It'll be greatly appreciated!

you're ticket is ticketed in business (from how you make it sound). in this case you should have no problem. there are always ignorant agents both on the phone and by check-in. you just need to stand your ground.
