Thread summary:

By a random twist of pop corn fate, a truly disgusting hate crime was somehow connected with a Mordechai Ben David concert.

As it happens, Mordechai Ben David, of Yidden, Daddy Dear, Lichtigher Shabbos & other "controversies", turns out to be a racist.

Whether or not that makes him an idiot is up for discussion.

In other news, Mordechai Ben David is still the king.

South Africa is a beautiful place to visit, though its old flag is a symbol of its racist past. Oh, and the current Prime Minister can't count. That's not related to this thread, but it is something you should definitely know.

I think its comparable to "Kramer" from the Seinfeld show. I still love that guy even though he onetime said something highly racist. IMO he is still a great actor. So MBD is still a great singer. Maybe to befriend him now I'll reconsider, but as a singer, he's still a great man

Put it that way, he's not a racist by profession. Does he keep racist values in his heart? No way I can know. Just because some on this thread implied that, it's not necessarily true. It was based solely on this one incident.

I guess I am confused. I was under the impression this was not a one time event for him. If it is then that is a whole different story. I know he was silent on the comment. Has he apologized for it or explained it so far?
