what is the best way to an upgrade to suite with a point booking on a gold card i th westin diplomat in hallndale golf location

You could try the "$20 Sandwich Trick"...

gold will give you an high ocean facing view, but, generally difficult to get them to give you a suite on gold.  They were, at least in my experiences, tight about even giving  a room with porch. (Obviously - how manyopen room they have will make a diff.)

That's just plain old dishonest. If everyone had 'an extremely special occasion' every time they stayed at a hotel, hotels would take these requests much less seriously.

that's probobly why amex is giving a hard time now through sm. because you've been telling everyone to sm that they received a better offer. or any of the other honest things...

You can easily get an Amex promo matched without lying.

Sheraton tlv will not give a spg gold lounge access although you probably will get a room in the "towers" on a club level floor.
