i did ask. he gave her the go ahead only to call her back later to say he isnt comfortable with her using ocean. but the part about id rather cancel was in refernence to waiting it out for her to go when you get back from vaca, thereby defeating the purpose of the vacation imho

this would have been off a private island so not that different but i think he wasnt comfortable with the using ocean at night and not having a woman supervise. i think had it been mle i would have pushed back. in my scenario i was refunded and plan to visit in the future

Isnt there also an issue with the moving water in an ocean? And what is the issue with husband supervising if you just dont look until submerged in the water?
