Isnt there also an issue with the moving water in an ocean? And what is the issue with husband supervising if you just dont look until submerged in the water?
Need to check for chatzitza. Ocean has a din maayan and does not have to be non moving. Lakes and rivers are more complicated. Many do need to be non moving.

Yes because we view the husband as Pas B'Salo, meaning all he has to do is wait a few minutes so we are not choshaish they will be together before she goes into the ocean.

question was why you need to come on to this, if he doesn't look until after submerged

because he would need to do a proper body scan before she goes in

This is not done in any mikvah I'm familiar with.

Going with the husband is definitely done b'shas hadchak. I heard second hand from someone who was told to do it by one of the poskei hador, if you want details you can PM me.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Correct. Let me rephrase. All he would have to do is be like the Mikva attendee...make sure she fully submerged, not that he’s actually doing a full body scan.

FWIU, these types of question that do not have a blanket answer, and very much depend on many variables.

I was worried about identifying details, but this should be ok.

Due to fertility issues, she needed to go as early as possible on a motzei shabbos and there was no mikvah lady available, so R' Reuven Feinstein told the husband to go with her.

What I think is missing from this discussion is.
What is with issue of going on vacation while not clean?
Isn't that a reason a rav may want you to cancel?

I'm going to add (what may be buried in these over 300 replies) that a couple can decide, by mutual consent,  to delay the  mikvah.  No shaalo needed.
It may not enhance the vacation, but a couple may decide it's worth it for other reasons.
