Don't all you guys live there? Just pick me up.  :P
Not really. -Me'ah She'arim is a tiny neighborhood in Jerusalem
Most DDFers live in Meah Shearim, but there are a couple in Kiryat Sefer too.
Really? I don't count the Mir as part of
Me'ah She'arim but even if you do, most live there??

Who do you think you are fooling? You think you are going to pull a quick one on your Creator? Good luck with that.

You don't understand, it's a real moving cultural experience driving through mea shearim in a taxi on shabbos
As in the rocks hitting your car may move you to leave the area
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

It's very likely.
When you say "it is presumably the best card for Israel", you mean only Israel or for any airline tickets ?

I am making an official protest about this הוצאת שם רע. While I will not deny that it has happened, I don't think it is common, since it is not permissible on Shabbos.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

id imagine because of the combo of pretty bad award availability and not outrageous flight costs

Just imagining the sight of a taxi driving down Meah Shearim on Shabbos being beaten by rocks, the passenger sticking his head out the window begging for his life:

On a more serious note, no way you're going to Israel without visiting the Wall...
