Is there a DDMS post that discusses AS award chart and best use of miles?
There's thishttp://www.dansdeals.com/archives/85765
Just looking at domestic flights, most (if not all) are 25K redemption for coach. Are there any good domestic deals from NYC?
Yes, but they said they need to credit it to the new account and then they'll combine them, which could take up to 24h. That was at 11:30 today, so far nothing (as expected).
Can someone please explain why taking 10K points over $100 is a no brainer? A $69 flight I found was 12.5K miles. (And I currently have 0 points in my Alaska account.)
And I found a $300 flight for 5k miles.Generally, 10k miles will give you more value than $100. For example I booked a 25k mile flight yesterday that would have cost over $2k, from a throwaway account that had under 20k until the 10k came along.
Is there any way to use 10k alaska miles? I don't want to transfer SPG and didn't have anything in my elevate account, and I don't plan on opening an Alaska cc?
I found a $300 flight for 5k miles.
So what you are saying is that it is not a no brainer, as it depends on what you are looking for, but in general the points are more beneficial?
got another email today.
the new round appears to be for children accounts that have to be called in by a parent to activate
+1 I called but they could not find the account even though I gave them the account number from the email.
