So years ago I took part in some Restaurant.com deals here buying $15 certs for like $2 or $4. A bunch went unused when my local kosher restaurant closed. Not such a big deal. I recently got an email from Restaurant.com allowing me to exchange the unused certificates for restaurant.com GCs at full price (ie they are now worth $15 at restaurant.com). There don't seem to be any kosher restaurants in the NY area though and when I search 'kosher' on the site, it just seems to bring up a whole lotta junk and definitely non-kosher places (lobster direct - seriously?!).
This ever happen to anyone and were you able to buy products or figure out ways to use these certs?
