Yup, worth the annual fee for 50% bonus on large purchases when the $95 EDP earns it on all purchases  ::)
Does anyone believe that a typical checkout agent knows what a Centurion card even is?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Typical checkout agent - unlikely.  Saks/Nordstrom cashiers - maybe

Is it solicitation if you're paying $2.5K/year to hook up with girls?

Concierge had to tell him about gold 3x on advertising. He spends 2,500 a yr on a card without researching what other cards offer?

That's 0.003% of his annual spending.

Anyway he's trying to justify the annual fee

There funniest part is that he says the biggest advantage the black card has over the biz plat is that you get a 50% points bonus on purchases over 5k. (It is possible that he meant that it's unlimited on the black card.)

Pretty poorly written article. Seems like the guy just wrote it to show off his black card and to tell about the one time a girl noticed him, but hey that's just my opinion
