Chase purchase protection

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience filing a chase purchase protection claim. They say its a benefit, but there doesn't seem to be anyone you can contact!

It does say in the benefits where to contact, I've done a claim with them, you ALWAYS have to return the item and you pay for shipping, unlike Amex that not always you return the item and they pay for shipping

Did you tell them how much it costs? I called once about a $30 bluetooth, at first they told me that I need an estimate, then once I told them that it was $30 they said that under $100 they just refund you either the purchase price, or price to purchase a replacement.

FWIW that was more than a year ago.

+1.  What a pain. I just finished a claim and realized they didnt even pay full amount. Didnt have patience dealing with them

I've gotten coverage for extended warranty protection twice from Chase. One time was for an ipod. That one required getting an estimate from Apple which I just went to the Apple store and they were able to print me the number for repair/replacement. The second one was for $25 earbuds. They didn't require any kind of repair estimate for that. Neither time did I have to send the product to them. While the forms were a little annoying it really wasn't that bad to deal with. They needed receipts for everything but that wasn't a problem since both items were purchased online.

My son went into a cell phone repair shop and showed him the mp3 player.  As expected the owner said I don't fix this.  My son said I know but could you please give me a written estimate.  The man did and my claim was fulfilled! :D
