Hi, Has anyone had any experience filing a chase purchase protection claim. They say its a benefit, but there doesn't seem to be anyone you can contact!
They want me to get a written estimate to fix a $24 MP3 player. Seems a bit crazy! Anyone have good experiences with them?
It does say in the benefits where to contact, I've done a claim with them, you ALWAYS have to return the item and you pay for shipping, unlike Amex that not always you return the item and they pay for shipping

Quotes in a signature is annoying, as it comes across as an independent post.
Chase has hands down the worst purchase protection/return protection. I have NEVER won a dispute or protection claim with them, no matter how valid (granted, some were a bit sketchy). Use Amex if you're going to need protection.. ALWAYS
to update:My son went into a cell phone repair shop and showed him the mp3 player. As expected the owner said I don't fix this. My son said I know but could you please give me a written estimate. The man did and my claim was fulfilled!
