If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

So right you are....seems like it's not anything special but I bought anyhow.  Got $24 back in eBay Bucks which almost pays for taxes.
Will pick up from local Best Buy after work.
Should be good to get son through high school.
You've been very helpful through this process.
I wasn't a big fan of HP years ago but I understand the quality is better now.
Thanks again!

  • Location: The value of a forum such as this one is not in that one can post a question and receive an answer, but in that the question has most likely been asked before, and the answer is available to him that will but only use the search function.
  • Programs: 1. Search on google. 2. Search in the right board of DDF with a general word or two. 3. Read the wiki. 4. Read the thread. 5. Ask away.

Turns out now I need a new computer as my ancient eMachine 750GB Hard Drive is going out.
I was able to save data onto external HD so all good there.
Now I'm going to get a laptop & connect it to full size monitor & external keyboard/mouse as I like that configuration better.
So, once again I'm now on the hunt for a great deal $250-$300 laptop for myself.
E-mail & Dans Deals is about all I do.  No gaming.
If anyone sees something, let me know.
I think that HP Touch Screen my son got would be great.
Easy for Mom to swipe pix to see instead of left/right button.
Any help is very much appreciated!  Thx!

How about this one, it has the same specs as the one you got for your son except it's a Lenovo instead of HP and has 4gb ram instead of 6gb but for just email and web it should be fine

Like before you can get it on ebay or bestbuy direct
