1 if I was forced to choose. Maybe do like the LA Chargers and tell us these aren't the final designs.

Although I don't like any of them , I would like to point out that the actual words Dansdeals on the 3rd option has some uniquness. But it's not as clear as the other ones.

Also, people in it, have a much better feeling of what a logo should look like then some random graphics artist.

I'll echo what others wrote:
1. All three are - no offense - fugly, even the existing (DD back to back) is better than those.
2. There should be a none-of-the-above option in the poll. 1 and 3 definitely resemble beatz
3. There should be a contest with DDMS voting, a prize would be nice (you can exclude DDF mods if you'd like, I don't have an eye for design anyway )
4. Is DDMS getting a facelift as well? Very exciting!
5. What's the full scoop on the legality of the apostrophe?

I've used http://www.zilliondesigns.com/ and was very satisfied. From the looks of it with fiverr you choose the designer who then designs for you. With zilliondesigns a bunch of designers submit their designs for you to choose from.

Zillion sounds like a better concept. Fiverr is like you said you pick your designer beforehand.

I do have to agree that both options 1 and 3 are quite similar to the beats logo. A contest would probably yield the most creativity being that it is from a group rather than an individual. Maybe a contest for a slogan would work too?

We already had a contest (or discussion?) about a new slogan, IIRC there was weed involved.
