As many said, none of the 2 options is blasting, I don't see it as a "new" look to DD.
The deals revealed is a blast IMO, gives a totally new look to the entire website.
@Dan did you like Alaska, United (Slogan with the map), Singapore, Alitalia AA etc etc they all changed their entire website in the last few years, some including the logo (Alaska, AA).
Obviously the marketing these days is to give a modern look, and that's what the above airlines did, not necessarily it was the nicest looks, but that how the market goes these days
