Buying tickets with Sapphire reserve, or sell points?

Would it be worth selling my points and buying tickets on my own to Israel, or is it better to make the tickets through Chase Sapphire Reserve? Also, how many points is it forEach ticket for travel during the summer? I would be looking to buy tickets for a family, if I earn enough points.

Booking tickets through sapphire reserve at 1.5 cents each is usually best. Next time, you don't have to open a new thread. There are many existing threads you could ask question in.

that depends... On many factors

Questions that are relevant are.. do you plan to fly in business or economy? How many tickets do you need? How many UR do you currently have?

I take it you are new.. so if you answered economy to the first question, you've got a lot of reading to do...

We would fly economy, 7 tickets, we have 2 reserve credit cards. Not enough points yet, but building up.

I plan on reading more, but the few threads I skimmed were long, so I figured it would be quicker to post a new question.

In that case I would reccomend going for the 1.5 cents per point method. You can find cheap economy flights even in the summer.

Also note that selling your points is not formally/officially allowed, and can (and most likely will) result in becoming banned from Chase. YMMV. Tread lightly.

You'd likely need about 375k points. (Actually, the people that post new threads for this usually only fly LY because they won't walk off Transaero or Turkish alive, so you may need more like 550k points.)

All you need to read is the thread title to post a question there. No need to read the whole thread. If you don't find am appropriate thread, there's a general thread for beginners questions.
