So how'd the kiddush/party go today?
They gotta have a good kitchen on premises...
No, good catering though.
Interesting, they kept nothing from "The Boulevard Cafe"?
Nothing at all. It's probably better that way, anyone who frequented the BC knows that...
LOL. Didn't frequent but did go there and already know that...
Yeah, all you needed was once to find out anything that looked good on paper (the menu) contained ingredients they were out of... And that's just the beginning.
Was never in Basel either and from what I hear, I'm not missing anything there...
albeit extremely overpriced.
Basel is in the other CH
That statement is very relative.
Value for your money. $70 for a breakfast for two is steep by any (reasonable) stretch of the imagination. Some eggs, bread, and a few muffins shouldn't cost $70. C'mon, give me a break.
If you have dinner food for breakfast, it can very well cost $70.I don't believe they charged that for "some eggs, bread, and a few muffins"...
I'm probably exaggerating a bit, but it was over $60 for the items I listed. Here's their breakfast menu. Considering their coffee prices (assume 2 coffees per person) and mandatory 15% tip and tax, it adds up to ~$65.
Cool, I think I'll be there tomorrow for breakfast now that I saw their menu I like their food as well as the overall experience/ambiance and to me that's worth money.
