and in typical IHG fashion many of the hotels are not coming up as PB when you go to booking

Just call and be prepared to hang on for about 30 min they will do it for you
Then again 5K is practically free...

i cant imagine its sold out, its still on the list. sometimes the site wont let you book online for the 5k and youll have to call

I think it just takes a day for the online system to catch up with the right price.

Yup, saw that. Supposed to be an excellent hotel.
The location is on the Cleveland Clinic campus, halfway between downtown and the jewish community.

I don't understand how this works (even after reading Dans post). I checked dates on the website and it says the hotel is available at 5,000 points a night.

What is the deal with cash and points AND the 5,000 points in your account?! Im confused. Sorry

It usually goes for 25,000 points now on pointbreaks it is 5,000 points
Dan was basically explaining how to get around buying extra points for full price and getting them cheaper
