To be honest, I don't recall seeing any.  There were plenty of dati leumi/orthodox, and of course non-religious/masorti.  I'm pretty sure the kashrus is rabbinate, but I may be wrong.

I do know that I've never had an issue with checking out motzei Shabbos.

Haredi or not, I think 5,000 points is a great deal even for board only without meals.  You can still enjoy the accommodations and explore...

Are the rooms big? Any chance I can fit there with 2 kids?

Crown plaza on mawah is back up to 20,000. Even if you just want to change your existing reservation to a different night you will have to pony up another 15k.

Man, booked the 2nd weekend in October at HI Burlington. Was gonna do a fall foliage trip, basing out of there. At the time the Mont Tremblant one was available. Now wifey wants to do it a bit more up north, across the border in Montreal, and of course the Mont Tremblant one is long gone. Anyone know if someone cancel it, can I then book it at 5k? That assumes I can find someone who is willing to switch, which is a remote possibility.

I hope you haven't called yet.  CAREFUL! They can revoke the 5k per night and make you pay the current point rate for each night.  EVEN IF the CSR tells you the points will remain the same! BTDT.

Maybe we can exchange. I have this week available in Mahwah, NY and would like to exchange part or all with someone (or sell if I have to).  Different dates for the same location would be great.

I did already. I not exactly following. I had a res for 15k points for Monday Tuesday night and Wednesday night and I called them and just asked them to remove Monday night as I won't be able to make it....why would that be an issue?!

That should be perfectly fine. The problem is when they modify a reservation where the hotel has sold out of pointbreak reservations. The modification can cause the points to change to the higher current amount. It shouldn't be and is a hassle and a lot of HUCA to change.

I think it's doable, probably not wonderful but doable.  They have "family suites" that have an extra room with bunk beds for kids.  I'm sure they'd let you add money if one is available.  Probably another $100-$150 depending.

Yup he said he had no clue. Told me after the first day he had over 250 points bookings and got pissed bc he does not make that much money off of them. I guess it's a busy area and he's full anyways.

You were right!! Once checked in I checked my account and they deducted 20k per night for the stay!

Called ihg and spoke to a manager and they said as a "one time courtesy" they will refund me!!

Family member of mine stayed at the holiday inn mont tremblant, the hotel gave them all 6 passes to ride the gondola there for free, $100+ value.
