The rest of our trip we stayed at the hotel. Rather than going into the details of our schedule, I'll just say what we did overall and post some pictures.
Thursday morning we got massages. Problem with the massage was that we were in an indoor outdoor room and we were able to hear cars and trucks. Masseuse was good, but focused on getting rid of knots rather than making it a relaxing experience, so I was in a lot of pain. Friday morning we did the complimentary photo session; problem is they leave a watermark on the photos and the photos are very expensive to order. Apparently a friend of mine can get rid of watermarks, something I still need to look into. We also chilled by shipwreck beach, hung out by the pools, lagoon, lazy river, etc. Our flight out was Motzai Shabbos, so I tried getting late check out, I was only able to squeeze 2 hours out of the hotel staff, needless to say, spending a few hours in the lobby was boring.
At the terminal, gate, and even on the plane, they were offering people 1000 dollar vouchers to not take the flight due to a short runway and weight restrictions. I would have totally taken that option, but I had to get back to work.
Overall, Hawaii was amazing, we fell in love. Lives up to the hype. 100% would return to Kauai and of course stay in GHK again.
Hope you enjoyed
