I cancelled my Amex Platinum, then received a letter that my PP account was closed.
Just a few days ago I tried using my PP card to enter the Dan lounge in Ben Gurion. They swiped it, had me sign something, and allowed me in!
Since I was worried about it being against Halacha (the PP account was closed); I promptly left the lounge (which was overcrowded anyway).
Will I get a bill somehow? Can anyone explain what happened?

No bill so far. It's been 9 months.

I know this is an old thread, but I checked it out before a recent flight and I am sure others still do as well.

I tried using the card in 2 airports, CDG and DUB. In CDG, they still have the old swiper where they get an imprint of the card, of course, it worked.
In Dublin, they have a really new facility and swiped the card into their database and of course, I was asked to leave.

I got the card when I signed up for Amesx Plat. I cancelled Amex and got the letter stating that the card was cancelled.

Yes, Plat will work if flying AA -- Terminal A, after Security, toward Gates 30 through 39.

New LGA lounge added for PRIORITY PASS members: Maple Leaf Lounge LGA
« Reply #67 on: November 07, 2012, 11:54:10 AM »
This is great for Amex Platinum members who were bummed over no longer being able to access CO/United. Now, you can access the Maple Leaf Lounge at LGA. It's just outside the CO gates, and last I was there they had complimentary Glenlivet 15. Also, they are set to remodel the lounge (formerly a Continental Presidents Club) this Winter.

To get in with my Priority Pass, do I need to give any form of identification, or is the card enough?

Still smells like old carpet even after remodel, depressed lounge in my opinion, centurion down the hall is well worth the walk

Is there a list of Priority pass lounges BEFORE TSA Security?
Also, if arriving at an airport, can one enter a lounge?

Having sapphire reserve I get to take in as many people as want. I saw in other forums people complaining that  at some lounges they wouldn't let them in with "unlimited guests". Did anyone expirnce this ? If yes with how many guest and at which lounge?

Easier to check the PP web site for guest and time limits. Not uncommon for PP lounges to restrict access during certain times and/or restrict guests to two.

Its right there...
for example for this lounge:
https://www.prioritypass.com/en/loungesearch?entity=73fff5c8-9a2f-434b-b7e1-14a6bc8329a0

"Access may be restricted between 11:00 - 14:30 and 19:00 - 22:00 daily."

The basic idea is that many of these lounges are for international airlines which have specific hours during which they are often busy from their own customers and don't want the added volume from PP
