im looking around to purchase a Hp Envy 14 preferably "Beats Edition" If anyone can help me out to find a great deal, would be much appreciated !

Just did research on that website, total scamm !! Wouldn't suggest any1 purchase anything from there!

eBay has one for $879, brand new. Sales tax only in MD and free shipping.

This Envy Beatz is 20% off with coupon NB6525. The coupon is only for systems above a certain price, I think that price is $1200. Upgrade to 6GB RAM, 750GB HDD and 2 batteries and it'll be $952 after the coupon.

There's also this Lenovo 14" lappy.

That's what they go for, your options are:

1. Pay the higher price (in which case that's the best current deal AFAIK).
2. Choose something else (In which case I can suggest other options).

Either way, I'm not sure your post belongs here (per-se), as the HP Beatz is a premium laptop (when compared to anything sub-$400), I'm just making sure to set reasonable expectations.

I'd say most Sub-$400 laptops are nothing to write home about in terms of quality (price mistakes and coupon stacking are an exception), as they are usually the lower end models. Tell me what screen sizes you prefer and I'll post some links (BL"N).

Screen size between 13"-17" is perferred, the brand i'm interested in is, Dell, HP, Samsung and Sony (maybe Toshiba,) basiclly using it for browsing the web, pictures, music and some files.

You can definitely get decent specs for $400, though I can't guarantee quality. You won't find any Sammys or Sony's (besides for netboos maybe) at that price...
