Why do I get a text that you posted something to the main site, but when I check it from my computer the new post is not there? It can sometimes take a few minutes until it actually "catches up"...

that too only pops up when the main site is updated...sry for wasting your time with this. its not the biggest deal on the world. Im just glad its not only me.

i think i know what you mean. sometimes i would look under that particular category for the deal. like if i get an amazon deal via text. Then i go online and its not there. i would look on top under shopping deals/amazon and its usually there.

Happens to me to (I guess everyone at this point) only since the new site. Yes, it was discussed here already and the problem with doing it your way is it, takes you directly to the item not to the post, not such a big deal but sometimes I want to see the post.

Oh, never tried that, actually I always assumed the text would take you to directly to the item also.

Update: twitter blocked by me so clicking the link in the text brings me to the block page

I do get a similar message from Barracuda on my work computer. Not always, though.

I get this at all time on a desktop computer using Firefox. 
My old DDMS has a lock and is fine.  It is just the ddf that has no lock picture and a security warning.
It does not make me feel secure.

Very old browsers have a problem with the https on DDMS. If you update your browser it shouldn't have any problems.
