Since when does FMV include tax? They're disclosing what they paid for it, which is what Citi should do for AA miles.

Even if FMV didn't include tax, it's still less than what Apple or even Amazon charges for it. 
I'd say it's pretty classy compared to the games Citi plays with their 1099-INTs.

boooo! Got my 1099 for an iPod Touch 2G in value of $198 (a different bank, not KeyBank).   Jan. is an exciting season of the year to get an overview of all the fun I have done all over the past year...

you can open an account online at www.flushingbank.com  but when I opened the account they required to keep $5,000,for 6 month, but now I think you have to keep $25,000. Also, I got $150 for doing 5 debit card transactions and 5 online billpay within 3 month of account opening, which I'm not sure if its still available. But it might be worth a try. They have very high %yield for new CHECKING accounts opened in new branches, I got %1.25 for first 3 month, and then %.75. AFAIK, their latest branch was opened in Borough Park.

Thanks for sharing, the KeyBank offer was significantly easier. Not saying you can't double dip, but I prefer to go for the low-hanging fruit.
