You would need to pay tax on $182--- not $182 tax.

How am I supposed to know if I'm approved? I haven't yet received an approval email (or any snail-mail) from them...

I did receive an in-process email as soon as I applied. Amongst other things it said:

Scored one of them ipod touch toys for my son last time Key Bank ran this promo. Worked flawlessly and received the toy way faster than times indicated! Due to so many promos going on, I am going to sit this one out and wait for the ipad2 promo

I don't think they're going to be giving out a $500 'toy' for opening an account there...

WHen i tried to sign up online, they asked for my zip. and then they said i must go to a branch. my dillema----- ipod is only online. ANY EITZOS?

UPDATE!!!

I opened the account using the wrong zipcode so that the system would let me proceed.

I called today saying I mistakenly entered the wrong zip code and asked to change it to the correct one.

The responded that my zipcode was already correct!

That means that although I entered a Yonkers zip code, because the street address and city that I entered were for Brooklyn, they automatically updated my zip code to the correct one!!!

It IS a Brooklyn account - only the mailing address is in NJ.

Oh, I thought the account address has to be outside of NY, IIRC that's the one that auto-populates the state and zip from the offer page, no?

So, I opened an account with them. Now I have 2 questions-
Can I make 3 $500 deposits one after the other and then withdraw it right away?
I didn't see any mention of the Ipod during/after my application. Is this normal?
